Refund Policy

We want billing at Alyne to be simple and fair. Here's how it works.

Free trial

Paid subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. If you don't cancel, your subscription begins automatically when the trial ends, at the plan you chose ($9.99 USD/month or $79.99 USD/year).

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage subscription in the app — no emails, no phone calls, no hoops.

When you cancel:

Your paid plan stays active until the end of your current billing period — you keep everything you paid for.
You will not be charged again after that.
Your account then moves to the free tier. Your data (goal, streaks, check-in history) is not deleted.

Refunds

Because you can try Alyne free for 7 days and cancel anytime, we generally do not offer refunds for partial billing periods — cancelling stops future charges rather than refunding past ones.

That said, we're human. If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge, a charge after you cancelled, or a billing mistake on our side — email hello@joinalyne.com within 30 days of the charge and we will make it right, including a full refund where appropriate.

Annual plans

The same rules apply to annual subscriptions: cancel anytime, keep access until the end of your paid year, and no further charges. If you cancel an annual plan shortly after an accidental renewal, contact us — we'll work with you.
